BIOGRAPHY

Liza Kunkel is the Global Head of Communications for Greystar. Liza oversees the company’s public relations as well as internal and external communications. Her role also includes advising on crisis communications and government affairs. Under Liza’s leadership, the Communications team works to strengthen the Greystar brand for internal and external audiences across multiple platforms while supporting a wide range of business groups within the organization.

Liza joined Greystar in 2017 from Blackstone, where she was a Director of Global Public Affairs. Prior to her nearly five years at Blackstone, she served in various roles at Operation Smile and on John McCain’s 2008 presidential campaign.

Liza holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the College of Charleston.
