Juan Macias is a Managing Director for Greystar Construction Services for Mexico, where he leads international projects and is a member of the Construction Excellence Practices and Standards group that assists projects in Europe, Spain, and Latin America. Juan is responsible for mid to high-rise tower construction and covers each project phase, including design and construction costs, preconstruction logistics, construction execution, quality assurance compliance, and final project delivery to Greystar’s operations team.
Before joining Greystar in 2015, Juan served as Senior Construction Director for Marriott International based in Bethesda, Maryland, spearheading the design and construction delivery of several types of hotel projects including high-end beach and golf resorts, timeshare apartments, full-service hotels, mixed-use properties, and long term stay facilities all under the Marriott International brand. He also served as Construction Counsel for the development and construction task force at Marriott International. Juan is a member of the US Project Management Institute chapter of Fort Worth, Texas.
Juan holds a degree in Civil Engineering with a specialization in Project Management as well as a Construction Project Manager designation in Hotel Development and Construction from Cornell University.
