BIOGRAPHY

Heather Moore is a Managing Director of Real Estate and leads the New York third-party management team for Greystar Property Management. Heather’s portfolio is comprised of approximately 50 assets and 11,000 units. She has led the third-party platform growth by expanding the regional capabilities to include construction management, facilities and maintenance expertise, union and prevailing wage labor strategy, and affordable housing and compliance oversight. This shift to further institutionalize third-party management has brought large clients, such as Goldman Sachs, UBS, RXR, Global Holdings, and Shorenstein, to Greystar. She has led the leasing-up of 3,000 units in New York and consulting on approximately 4,000 units for future developments.

Heather has been active in the multifamily industry since 1997 and has expertise in value-add strategies, lease-ups, turnarounds, and a proven track record of profitable business growth. Prior to joining Greystar in 2017, Heather spent ten years operating communities as a Vice President for AvalonBay in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, and San Francisco. Prior to that, she was a Regional Property Manager for Village Green Companies, where she oversaw a portfolio of communities in the Midwest. She holds Certified Apartment Manager, Professional Apartment Manager, and NALP Property Management designations. Heather is also on the Affordable Housing Committee for the National Apartment Association and the Advisory Board for Connexus Living.
