BIOGRAPHY

Robert Bennett is a Senior Managing Director and co-manages the Greystar-Thackeray business. Prior to joining Greystar in 2021, Robert was President of Thackeray Partners and was responsible for acquisitions, asset management, and the company's overall operations. 

Before joining Thackeray in 2007, he was with Crow Holdings, where he served in a variety of capacities, including acquisitions, asset management, and financial analysis. Robert is a member of the Dallas Real Estate Council, where he has served on the board and chaired the Associate Leadership Council leadership development program, the National Multifamily Housing Council, and the Folsom Institute for Real Estate at Southern Methodist University. He is also a member of the 21st Century Council, an advisory committee to the President of Southern Methodist University and a member of The Salesmanship Club of Dallas.

Robert holds a bachelor's degree from Southern Methodist University and a Master's degree from the University of York, England.
