BIOGRAPHY

Matt Fulton is a Senior Managing Director leading the US Owned Assets Operating Platform for Greystar’s Property Management business. Matt and his team also provide oversight for all owned assets in the United States including conventional, single-family rental, and build to rent. His team also oversees both third-party managed and owned student and active adult assets totaling 558 communities with 148,000 units. He is a Greystar Executive Committee member and member of Greystar’s Culture, Inclusion, and Engagement Advisory Council.

Matt began his student housing career in 1998 as a Resident Assistant for Allen & O'Hara, a predecessor to EdR. Over his tenure with EdR, a publicly traded REIT, Matt was promoted to Community Manager, Regional Director, and Vice President of Operations before advancing to Senior Vice President, where he was responsible for the oversight of EdR's owned assets. Matt joined Greystar in 2018 with the EdR transaction in the capacity of Managing Director, Real Estate Services, with a primary focus on student owned assets. Matt is a member of the Institute of Real Estate Management and holds the Certified Property Manager designation.

Matt received his bachelor's degree in economics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
