BIOGRAPHY

John Wilbeck is a Managing Director for Greystar Development Services, overseeing the company’s development activities in Western Canada.  Based in Vancouver, John is responsible for growing its regional development team and market presence. 

Prior to joining Greystar in 2021, John served as a Managing Director with Hines where he was responsible for sourcing and executing development projects in Western Canada.  During his time at Hines, John worked on a variety of projects in Canada, including leading the development activities on approximately 1,000 units and over one million square feet of office space development.  John also acted as the Project Manager for over one million square feet of office space development in Chicago.  Prior to Hines, John served as a Financial Analyst for three years with Citigroup in New York City. 

John holds bachelor’s degrees in Mathematics and Applied Mathematics from Columbia University, and holds a Master’s of Business Administration from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
