BIOGRAPHY

Harry Downes is a Managing Director for Greystar’s Investment Management business in Europe. Harry is responsible for overseeing multifamily products in the United Kingdom.

After serving six years in the Army, Harry started his career in the commercial property industry in Canada. On returning to the UK, he switched to residential with Savills before spending thirteen years as Sales and Marketing Director with Manhattan Loft Corporation. In 2010, Harry founded Fizzy Living, one of the earliest entrants into the build for rent market. Fizzy grew to 1,000 units with financial backing from ADIA, and in 2021, the operating business was bought by Greystar. Harry is a member of the Urban Land Institute.
