BIOGRAPHY
Chris McNeer is a Managing Director overseeing rental housing acquisitions for the Greystar-Thackeray business. He is a member of the Greystar-Thackeray Investment Committee and focuses his efforts on acquisitions, asset management, and dispositions.Chris joined Greystar through the Thackeray acquisition in 2021. Before joining Thackeray in 2008, Chris was a Senior Equity Analyst at a start-up hedge fund. Prior to that, he began his career as an Audit Associate at KPMG. Chris retains his Certified Public Accountant license, and his real estate affiliations include the National Multifamily Housing Council and the Dallas Real Estate Council. He is the past President of the Board of Directors of Promise House, a non-profit focused on teen homelessness.
Chris holds a bachelor's degree in Accounting from Baylor University and a Master's in Business Administration degree from Harvard Business School.
