BIOGRAPHY

Candiss Escobar is a Managing Director for Greystar’s Property Management business. Candiss oversees all aspects of the Austin region’s third-party property management business which is comprised of 99 properties and more than 22,700 units. Candiss formulates and develops annual financial goals and business plans that align with the company's property management strategy. In addition, she leads a team of Real Estate Directors and Regional Property Managers in executing initiatives that enable properties to meet and exceed financial and operational objectives. 

Candiss has extensive experience in lease-ups, value-add, senior housing, mixed-use, high-rises, mid-rise, and garden-style communities in urban and suburban locations. Before joining Greystar in 2008, Candiss worked for a REIT, Archstone, as a Senior Regional Manager, with oversight in Texas, Arizona, and Louisiana. Candiss is actively involved with local National Apartment Association affiliates and is a frequent speaker at industry events. She also participates in several company committees. Candiss has her CAPS certification with the National Apartment Association and the Certified Property Manager designation with the Institute of Real Estate Management.
