BIOGRAPHY

Tim McDaniel is a Senior Managing Director and Associate General Counsel on the Legal Services team for Greystar’s Construction business. He handles claims and disputes arising in the construction context, risk management and mitigation, contract negotiation, and related disclosures. Tim also provides guidance to project and team leaders on a range of construction-related topics for projects across North America.

Tim has over 30 years of experience, including leading his own firms, representing clients in commercial litigation and arbitration matters, and guiding clients through a broad array of commercial transactions. His construction-related experience includes serving as outside counsel for Greystar for over 20 years and extensive work on construction-related claims and projects for Greystar and others in the construction industry.

Tim holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Texas at Austin, with honors, and a Juris Doctor degree from Baylor University.
