BIOGRAPHY

Thomas Forrester is a Managing Director of Portfolio Management for Greystar's development ventures. Thomas oversees investment management for programmatic and JV development assets, including Greystar's develop-to-core ventures, Greystar Essential Housing Fund, and Greystar's investment in JV developments across the US. Thomas works closely with Greystar's local development and investment teams and is responsible for the structuring of new ventures, investment strategy and investment execution.

Since joining Greystar in 2015, Thomas served at the Portfolio Manager for programmatic separate accounts and develop-to-core ventures, with responsibility for fund strategy, investment selection, and fund performance. Prior to joining Greystar, he worked in the Capital Markets group of Cushman & Wakefield in Washington, DC, supporting the disposition and recapitalization of over $2B in office, retail and multifamily investment sales in the Washington metro area.

Thomas holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in finance from the University of Georgia and earned his Master of Accounting at UNC Chapel Hill.
