BIOGRAPHY

Rick Tripp is a Managing Director for Greystar Construction Services, overseeing construction activities for the national collegiate housing platform on and off-campus for the Atlanta and East Regions.

He joined Greystar in 2018 through the acquisition of student housing leader EdR, where he served as Vice President of Construction. Rick came to EdR in 2012 to lead and manage the construction of the $459.6 million oncampus housing transformation at the University of Kentucky, the largest, most successful collegiate housing project completed in the US to date. Before joining EdR, Rick was a Principal/Owner at MSA Architects in Cincinnati, Ohio, where he led the design and implementation of public/private partnership buildings through his ability to identify common ground and encourage collaboration. He is a LEED Green Associate certified professional and a member of the American Institute of Architects. Rick has served on numerous non-profit boards and is an Eagle Scout.

Rick received a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Design from Miami University in Ohio and a Master’s of Architecture from The Ohio State University. Rick is a registered architect in the State of Ohio with NCARB Certifications in Ohio and Kentucky.
