BIOGRAPHY

Rick Tripp is a Managing Director of Construction, overseeing construction activities for the national collegiate housing platform, on- and off-campus, across the Mid-South and East Coast regions.

Rick joined Greystar in 2018 through the acquisition of student housing leader EdR, where he served as Vice President of Construction. He led the $459.6M on-campus housing transformation at the University of Kentucky and continues to support the Greystar–UK housing partnership. Additional on-campus projects include the University of South Carolina and the University of Mississippi, as well as numerous off-campus student housing developments. Prior to EdR, Rick was a Principal at MSA Architects in Cincinnati, OH. He is a LEED Green Associate and a member of the American Institute of Architects. Rick has served on numerous non-profit boards and is an Eagle Scout.

Rick holds a bachelor’s degree in environmental design from Miami University in Ohio and a Master of Architecture from The Ohio State University. He is a registered architect in the State of Ohio with NCARB Certifications in Ohio and Kentucky.
