BIOGRAPHY

Mike Cairo is a Managing Director of Global Safety and Security where he is responsible for working with Greystar’s safety and operations teams to develop and build upon the company’s safety and security strategy.

Mike brings over 20 years of experience in global security, crisis management, safety, and business operations. Prior to joining Greystar, Mike served as the Deputy Safety Officer for the Massachusetts Department of Transportation, where he focused on statistical analysis to improve service and enhance security. Before that, he led global security risk and crisis management functions at GE as the Chief Security Officer and General Manager of Corporate Air Transport.

Mike holds a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering from Manhattan College and a Master of Business Administration in finance from New York University.
