BIOGRAPHY

Michelle Pawelek is a Managing Director for the Property Management business in Houston. Her responsibilities include all aspects of property operations for approximately 20,000 units in the area. Additionally, she works with clients on acquisitions and dispositions and supports Regional Property Managers with budgets, risk management, personnel issues, and physical asset needs.

Michelle is a veteran of the apartment industry with more than 35 years of experience, working for both owner and fee managers while producing a depth of knowledge on the multitude of submarkets in the Houston area. Michelle serves on the Past President's Council of the Houston Apartment Association and is active on their Board of Directors. She currently holds the Vice President at Large position for the Texas Apartment Association and serves on its Board of Directors. She is also highly engaged with the Political Action and Legislative Committees both locally and within the state.

Michelle holds her Certified Property Manager designation through the Institute of Real Estate Management. She has won Greystar’s National Regional Property Manager and Houston Regional Property Manager awards, in addition to the Houston Apartment Association’s Property Supervisor of the Year award and Management Executive in 2017.
