BIOGRAPHY

Konstantinos Sotiropoulos is a Managing Director of Development for Greystar, overseeing the company’s development business in Central Europe. He currently leads the Netherlands, Germany and Austria development teams, where he is responsible for growing Greystar’s platform in the region and managing the deal execution and delivery of all build for rent and student housing development projects. Konstantinos oversees a secured pipeline of more than 6,000 units and over €2bn in gross development value and is member of the European Investment Management Leadership team.

Konstantinos joined Greystar in 2016. Before Greystar, Konstantinos worked on BP’s Strategy team, coordinating the company’s global aviation fuel business strategy and investment/divestment initiatives. Prior to that, he also held roles at CarVal Investors as a summer associate and at Mott MacDonald as a civil and structural engineer on large-scale real estate and infrastructure projects in the UK and UAE.

Konstantinos is the founder of the Greek Real Estate Forum, aimed at offering mentorship advice to young professionals, he is professional member of the Institution of Civil Engineers in the UK and the Technical Chamber of Greece, and is a regular speaker at industry events.

Konstantinos graduated with First Class Master’s in engineering from Imperial College in London, is qualified as Chartered Engineer CENG MICE and holds a Master of Business Administration from London Business School.
