BIOGRAPHY
Kevin Scelfo is a Managing Director on the Portfolio Management team. In this role, Kevin oversees the strategic growth of Greystar’s global multifamily investment vehicles as well as augments the firm’s relationships with key partners. He is also responsible for Greystar’s global strategic partners’ fund. Additionally, Kevin is the Portfolio Manager for the Greystar Impact Housing Fund, an investment vehicle focused on delivering high-quality new-build housing to America’s essential workers and leveraging our Modular Production factory.
Prior to joining Greystar, Kevin was a Senior Investment Officer at the New York City Retirement Systems (NYCRS), where he oversaw a $17 billion real estate portfolio within the $200 billion New York City pension system. Prior to NYCRS, Kevin was head of the real estate investment portfolio for New York-Presbyterian Hospital, a $5 billion endowment fund based in New York City. Kevin began his career in investment banking and principal investing with Macquarie Capital in New York City and completed the investment banking analyst program at HSBC, splitting time between London and Hong Kong.
Kevin holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Finance from Cornell University, as well as a Master of Finance degree from INSEAD Business School.
