BIOGRAPHY
Kathleen Leito is a Managing Director of Real Estate with responsibility for third-party operations in New England, where she oversees stabilizing and growing the company's portfolio to over 60 assets and more than 17,000 units throughout Massachusetts, Connecticut, and the recent expansion into New Hampshire. She oversees and mentors a team consisting of Regional Managers and Directors, Regional Maintenance, Capital Management, and Pre-Development Services.
Kathleen joined Greystar in 2009 as part of the company’s acquisition of JPI, where she worked since 2000. Prior to her current role, she worked in several markets ranging from Washington DC, New York, and Boston. Kathleen began her career in the multi-family industry in the Mid-West with Archstone. Her experience includes luxury lease-ups from pre-development to stabilization, as well as large renovation projects from acquisition to successful repositioning. She has overseen a variety of product types, including garden, mid-rise, high-rise, and mixed-use. Kathleen is actively involved with the Massachusetts Apartment Association, for which she previously sat on the Board of Directors. She recently led DEI initiatives for the Northeast division for two years and is a member of the company's US Property Management DEI leadership team.
Kathleen attended SUNY Dutchess, where she studied Liberal Arts.
