BIOGRAPHY
Joe Parsons is a Managing Director overseeing investments for Greystar's Build for Rent ("BFR") platform. Prior to his current role, he led asset management of domestically owned investment assets across conventional multifamily, active adult, and student housing sectors. In addition to leading asset management, he was previously responsible for the company’s acquisitions, asset management, and dispositions throughout the Central and Mid-Atlantic regions. He joined Greystar in 2014 and has been a multifamily professional since 2006.
Prior to joining Greystar, Joe worked for USAA Real Estate Company, the State Teachers Retirement System of Ohio, and KeyBank Real Estate Capital in each firm's respective investment groups. He is actively involved with the National Multifamily Housing Council and the CFA Institute, where he is a charter holder.
Joe received his bachelor’s degree from Ohio University and received his Master’s of Business Administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
