Cohan

BIOGRAPHY

Jason Cohan is a Managing Director for Greystar's Americas Principal Business, where he leads portfolio management and capital markets activities for Greystar's real estate credit strategies. In this role, Jason is responsible for the strategy, formation, and structuring of new fund vehicles, and is responsible for ongoing cash and risk management, liquidity planning, investor reporting, and portfolio analytics for existing funds. In addition, Jason oversees the sourcing, structuring, and execution of financing solutions, including warehouse facilities, A-notes, securitization, subscription lines, and strategic capital partnerships that support the platform's growth and enhance risk-adjusted returns for investors.

Prior to joining Greystar in 2022, Jason was a Senior Vice President at US Bank where he focused on the origination of structure commercial real estate credit products. Prior to that, Jason held various roles at Wells Fargo focused on originating commercial real estate loans.

Jason holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Texas' Austin McCombs School of Business and a bachelor’s degree in finance from Pennsylvania State University.
