BIOGRAPHY

J. Alberto Donoso is a Senior Managing Director and leads International Development Operations, as well as European Development with direct oversight over the UK and Spain development teams. Alberto is a member of the Southern Europe Leadership Team, the body which leads Greystar’s strategic business expansion in Southern Europe. In his International Development Operations role, Alberto also works closely with the Asia-Pacific and South America investment and development teams to develop purpose-built rental housing in international target markets, deliver high-quality housing to renters, and create Class-A real estate assets for Greystar and its investors.

Prior to joining Greystar, Alberto worked as Director of Development for Kettler, a luxury multifamily developer in the Washington, DC area. Before that, he served in various construction management roles for Clark Builders Group, one of the largest multifamily general contractors in the US. He has been active in the real estate development industry since 2006. Alberto is an active member of the Urban Land Institute and sits on its Global Exchange Council.

Alberto holds a bachelor of science degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Virginia and received a Master’s of Business Administration, with a concentration in Finance, from the University of Virginia, Darden School of Business.
