BIOGRAPHY

Cope Willis is Managing Director of Sustainability for Greystar and is responsible for leading both the strategy and execution of the company’s global climate and sustainability efforts for the owned assets portfolio.

With over twenty years of sustainability and industry experience, Cope joined from Harsco Corporation, a leading provider of materials and environmental services to the global steel and metals industry. At Harsco, he was Vice President of Sustainability and Environmental Solutions, responsible for leading their global sustainability program and ESG integration across corporate and business functions. Prior to that, he worked at PwC as Director of Sustainability advising many of largest global financial, private equity and real estate companies. Cope is a member of the Urban Land Institute and the US Green Building Council.

Cope earned a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science from the University of Virginia and a doctorate in Earth Sciences from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
