BIOGRAPHY

Christopher Peter is a Managing Director and leads real estate operations within the Northern California region for Greystar’s Property Management business. Chris oversees a multifamily portfolio of over 42,000 units across Northern California and Hawaii. In addition to property operations, Chris maintains management oversight of construction services and marketing.

Before joining Greystar in 2017, Chris served as Regional Vice President for The Laramar Group, a real estate investment and management company located in Denver, Colorado, and served as Managing Director at Equity Residential, a publicly traded REIT. He was also previously a Senior Asset Manager at Prana Investments, a private equity real estate firm in San Francisco, California. Chris currently serves on the Tri County Board of Directors of the California Apartment Association and is a frequent participant at industry events. He also serves on the Board of Directors of the Housing Industry Foundation.

Chris received his bachelor's degree from Lehigh University.
