BIOGRAPHY

Charmaine Cheuk is a Managing Director of Portfolio Management for Greystar's Investment Management business in the Asia-Pacific region. Charmaine is responsible for the overall strategic direction, execution, and performance of the company’s flagship Asia-Pacific value-add fund series. She also provides portfolio management oversight for other investment ventures across the region.

Charmaine has over 30 years of real estate experience, spanning investment, valuation, technology, fund operations, asset management, and portfolio management activities in the Asia-Pacific region. Before joining Greystar in 2022, Charmaine held various portfolio management and fund operation roles at AEW Capital Management, CBRE Global Investors, ING Real Estate, and Lehman Brothers. Charmaine is an active member of the Asian Association for Investors in Non-Listed Real Estate Vehicles (ANREV) and a member of the organization’s ESG Committee.

Charmaine received her master’s degree in finance from the New York University Stern School of Business and HK University of Science and Technology, and her bachelor's degree in economics from the University of California, Berkeley.
