BIOGRAPHY
Brett Lashley is a Senior Managing Director for Greystar Investment Management Services, where he oversees and manages Greystar's debt investment funds. Brett is responsible for investment and portfolio management activities for Greystar Credit Partners, a series of debt funds focused on the acquisition of securitized subordinated debt, private label securitizations, and other forms of debt collateralized by for-rent residential assets.
Before joining Greystar in 2009, Brett spent eleven years at ORIX Finance in Dallas, Texas. His role at ORIX culminated as Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer, with responsibility for risk management compliance, financial reporting, portfolio analytics, and organizing the integration of strategic acquisitions. Prior roles at ORIX focused on the underwriting, trading, and syndication of fixed income and structured credit-related securities. Brett began his professional career in fixed income sales at Bear Stearns in 1996. Brett is a prior Vice Chairman and current Executive Board Member of the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Charleston.
Brett received a bachelor's degree in Investments and Organization Behavior from Babson College.
