BIOGRAPHY

Andrew Ord is a Managing Director of Greystar's Build for Rent (BFR) and BFR/multifamily hybrid platform, where he leads the development and investment efforts across these sectors. Andrew and his team provide support to development teams in all phases of Greystar-owned BFR and hybrid developments involving strategy, underwriting, capitalization, entitlements, construction, design, disposition and best practices. In addition, Andrew oversees Greystar's BFR investment vertical as they execute BFR acquisitions, forward fund, and forward purchase investments with third-parties and contractors.

Before shifting his focus to Greystar's build for rent national platform, Andrew served as a Managing Director of Development and led all phases of development for more than 8,400 class-A and active adult units and 120,000 square feet of retail across all product types. His responsibilities included sourcing, underwriting, entitling, and coordinating developments across the Central North US region. Andrew is a frequent contributor and speaker at industry events and previously held a California Real Estate Broker license and a Utah general contractor license.

Andrew holds a Master of Business Administration from Southern Methodist University, with concentrations in finance and real estate and a Bachelor of Business Administration in construction management from Brigham Young University.
