US Operational Learning & Development
Jay Davenport is a Managing Director and leads the Operations Learning and Development for the Property Management business of Greystar. Jay and his team support the learning and development needs for on-site property operations and corporate property management team members.
Before joining Greystar in 2019, Jay served as the Director of Talent and Organizational Development at Hilton Grand Vacations and Hilton Worldwide where he led a new organizational development infrastructure and oversaw leadership development, global orientation and onboarding, diversity and inclusion, and performance management. Prior to that, Jay managed the leadership development efforts for Wyndham Vacation Ownership, where he established a learning center to improve sales and marketing leadership results. Jay is actively involved with The HR Advisory Group of the National Apartment Association. He is also a Program Committee Member for the Forum on Diversity at the University of St. Thomas, and The Forum on Workplace Inclusion at Augsburg University. Jay is certificated through Korn Ferry’s Leadership Architect program and 360 Feedback Certification. He also is certified by the Human Capital Institute in Strategic Workforce Planning and is a certified Emergenetics Associate for Emergenetics International. Jay also holds various Franklin Covey Facilitator Certifications.
Jay received his bachelor’s degree in Organizational Communications from the University of Central Florida.
