Paris, 20 October, 2025 – Greystar, a global leader in the investment, development, and management of rental housing, has announced the acquisition of a 257-unit residence in Courbevoie. The project is part of the expansion of Canvas in France, Greystar’s premium managed residential brand, designed for students and young professionals.

Located to the west of Paris, at the gateway to La Défense, the project boasts a strategic location at the heart of a high-quality residential area and close to major corporate headquarters. Bécon-les-Bruyères station (Line L) provides direct access to La Défense in 15 minutes and to Saint-Lazare station in 19 minutes, catering to the needs of young professionals working in key Parisian business hubs.

The residence, designed for young professionals, will offer high-quality studios and apartments averaging 25 m², one-third of which will have private balconies. It will provide over 650 m² of thoughtfully designed communal spaces to promote well-being and sociability: a landscaped patio, a fitness area, a welcoming lounge-club, and a modern, fully equipped coworking space to facilitate remote work and creativity. A panoramic rooftop with views of Paris and the Eiffel Tower will complete the development, offering residents an exceptional living environment.

Designed by DGM Architects and developed by Adim Paris Ile-de-France, real estate development subsidiary of VINCI Construction, in partnership with Mirabeau Asset Management, the project is part of an urban reinvention initiative, transforming a former office building into a contemporary living space for young professionals. True to Greystar’s ethos, it combines modernity, comfort, and openness, and will be managed on a daily basis by Greystar’s operational teams.

Thomas Charvet, Managing Director of Greystar France, said: “We continue to strengthen the Canvas brand in France with a third property in the Paris region, in Courbevoie. Following the commercial success of Canvas La Défense, our first student residence with 644 rooms in Puteaux, the groundbreaking of our 400-room Canvas Toulouse Altiplano residence, and the completion of our 310-room Canvas Paris Ivry student residence at the end of the year, this new step in Courbevoie reflects our commitment to expanding our offering with residences dedicated to young professionals. We are applying the same high standards here, in terms of quality, comfort, and the residential experience provided.”

He continued: “Canvas is now establishing itself as a trusted brand, combining modernity, agility, sociability, and high standards of quality: a new way of experiencing city life, designed to fully meet the evolving expectations of its residents.”

With this new transaction, Greystar now owns over 1,600 apartments in the French market and manages nearly 3,000 apartments on behalf of third parties in France, confirming the growth momentum of its residential portfolio.

Since its launch in 2021, the Canvas brand has grown rapidly and now spans nearly 10,000 beds across the UK, Ireland, France, Spain and the Netherlands. Each opening reinforces Canvas’s reputation as a trusted name in student accommodation, combining Greystar’s development capability with its proven operational expertise to deliver a consistent experience across multiple markets.

The opening of the Courbevoie residence is scheduled for 2028.
