Greystar Closes on Chamblee City Center

Atlanta, GA – November 4, 2026 – Greystar, a global leader in rental housing, investment management, development, and property management today announced a successful land closing of Chamblee City Center in Chamblee, Georgia, a submarket of Atlanta.
Located at 5520 Peachtree Road in Chamblee, Chamblee City center will consist of 340 units comprising of studio, one-, and two-bedroom residences. The 7.24-acre site will include a three-building multifamily community, over 29,000 square feet of activated street-level retail and dining, and a one-acre community park. Chamblee City Center will feature a resort-style pool with cabanas, a shared courtyard between buildings with lounge areas and outdoor grilling stations, an expansive fitness center with state-of-the-art equipment, resident lounges and coworking spaces, a game room with a golf simulator, and a rooftop Sky Lounge overlooking the Town Green and Downtown Chamblee. The retail will be curated by Vantage Realty Partners.
The transaction was completed in partnership with the Chamblee Downtown Development Authority, with Stream Realty serving as the DDA’s representative in the transaction. “Chamblee City Center represents an exciting opportunity to contribute to the continued growth of Downtown Chamblee through a thoughtfully designed, mixed-use development,” said Katherine Mosley, Managing Director of Development at Greystar. “The combination of high-quality rental housing with retail and dining, public green space, and connections to the Chamblee Rail Trail will create a meaningful extension of Downtown Chamblee and add new energy to an already thriving community.”

Construction will begin in November and is projected to be complete by December 2028. Leasing will begin in August 2028.
