Greystar Desert Open Raises Over $100,000 for the PTSD Foundation
PHOENIX, AZ – April 23, 2019 - Greystar is pleased to announce that its Second Annual Desert Open raised over $100,000 to benefit the Arizona Chapter of the PTSD Foundation of America. The charity event recently took place at the Legacy Golf Resort in Phoenix, Arizona. Greystar team members, clients, and local businesses came together to give back to combat veterans and their families. Over 140 golfers participated, and more than 25 businesses sponsored the Desert Open.
“We are proud to support the work of the PTSD Foundation of America and their efforts to make a difference in the lives of so many veterans,” said Nicole Wray, Managing Director of Real Estate for Greystar. “Together with the help of our clients, local businesses and community members we were able to raise over $100,000 to support veterans and their families in Arizona.”
The PTSD Foundation of America is dedicated to serving the needs of veterans and their families suffering from combat related Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder. The foundation provides recreational therapy as well as a recovery program, individual mentoring sessions with certified combat trauma mentors, job placement and peer support groups.
