Greystar announces 2016 Women Asset Managers National Summit

Greystar is pleased to announce the 2016 Women Asset Managers National Summit (WAM) October 17-19th in Dallas, Texas. Nearly 200 women in the multi-family industry will gather for the 4th annual conference at The Westin Galleria Dallas.  WAM is a group of top women executives in multi-family real estate who are responsible for the operation, acquisition, disposition, development and financial performance of multi-family real estate.

Charleston-based Greystar is a fully integrated real estate company that offers investment management, development and property management of rental housing properties globally.

This year’s theme is “The Power of You” and will highlight the incredible power of female leaders in the real estate industry.  The agenda is packed with opportunities to engage through thought-provoking educational sessions, panel discussions, roundtable conversations and will include insightful speakers and valuable networking events.

Summit highlights include: A home sharing and corporate housing panel discussion with Airbnb’s Global Multi-Family Director and Urbandoor’s CEO; a sustainability panel; trends and technology panels on developments that are changing the industry; and a property tour of the newest Dallas high rise apartment community.

This year’s keynote speakers are Jennifer Hyman, CEO and Co-Founder of Rent the Runway and Alli Webb, DryBar CEO and Founder.  Jennifer has been presented with many honors and awards, such as Fortune Magazine Most Powerful Women, Business Insider Top 100 and Fortune 40 Under 40.  Alli’s impressive credentials include Fortune’s “40 under 40,” Marie Claire’s “16 Most Fascinating Women,” Cosmopolitan’s “2013 Power List,” and Fast Company’s “100 Most Creative People in Business.”
