BIOGRAPHY

Joe Chu is a Senior Managing Director on the Investment Management team overseeing the Greystar-Thackeray and the Greystar Logistics business lines, and is a Greystar Executive Committee member.

Prior to joining Thackeray in 2007, Joe was an Investment Banking Analyst for Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette and an Associate with venture capital fund Upfront Ventures. His real estate affiliations include The Wharton School’s Zell-Lurie Real Estate Center and the Dallas Real Estate Council, where he served on the Foundation Board.

Joe is a double graduate of The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, having received both a bachelor’s degree in Economics and a Master’s in Business Administration.
