The Alexan Defies Expectations

The artist himself gave a meaningful toast, and guests celebrated the innovative partnership between apartment community and local art.
In addition to the community’s unique art installation, THE Alexan always strives to deliver something new and exciting to its residents. Just this year, THE Alexan partnered with the Katy Trail—Dallas’ premier destination for walking, running and exploring the city outdoors—which is conveniently located just steps from the community’s back door. The community hosted a trailside event, called “Dog Days of Summer,” and invited residents and their pups to the pet park for bites and drinks from local purveyors and beats by one of Dallas’ top DJs. Because many of THE Alexan residents are fitness-focused, the community also hosted a moonlight yoga session by the resort-style pool, inviting a local yoga instructor to lead residents in a guided yoga session. Post-yoga, residents were treated to detoxifying kombucha and relaxing chair massages.
Residents have no shortage of relaxation and entertainment options at THE Alexan, with a plethora of hotel-level amenities right at their fingertips. THE Alexan residents beat the Dallas heat by cooling off in the community’s sprawling pool, complete with an impressive waterfall backdrop and plenty of lounge seating. The nearby clubroom is also ideal for entertaining guests. Residents can sink into the cozy lounge-style seating, watch the game on flat-screen TVs and even play a game of pool with friends in the billiard room. THE Alexan’s rooftop Sky Lounge is a true gem, offering stunning 360-degree views of the surrounding city.
