10 p.m.

10 a.m.

Wander through the acclaimed North Carolina Museum of Art, home to a collection that spans more than 5,000 years. The museum also offers an amphitheater that plays host to a number of public events throughout the year.

3 p.m.

Stroll through scenic Pullen Park, known for its historic carousel, pedal boats and multiple playgrounds. Bonus: Four-legged friends are more than welcome — as long as they’re on a leash.

6 p.m.

Treat your taste buds to flavorful international fare at Buku, specializing in upscale street food from around the globe. Start off with the edamame or empanadas before moving on to a piping hot bowl of ramen or pho.

8 p.m.

Catch a Broadway show or dance performance at Duke Energy Center, the city’s top performing arts venue for nearly 90 years. The center boasts stunning architecture and five distinct theaters, each of which is custom-built for a specific type of performance.

11 p.m.

End the night with a bang at Boxcar Bar + Arcade, which offers vintage and contemporary arcade games as well as impressive beer and bourbon lists. The hangout is open until 2 a.m. on Friday and Saturday nights.

Sleep in a bit before heading to Beasley’s Chicken + Honey for brunch. Indulge in a savory feast of fried chicken and flaky buttermilk biscuits, or sweeten things up with a fluffy Belgian waffle topped with seasonal fruit, fresh cream and Virginia maple syrup.

2 p.m.

7 p.m.
