Greystar’s construction company is the general contractor
on all Greystar sponsored projects, an important provision that allows us to
tightly control the quality, schedule and budget for each project. Since 1993,
our construction company has completed more than $670 million of new
construction multifamily projects as well numerous major rehabs.
These projects encompass a wide range of apartment
product types and total more than 11,000 multifamily units.
Although we run our construction business as a profit
center, we minimize our overhead and only perform general contracting functions.
